The Illinois Department of Public Health is warning about an increase in the mosquito population. The Mercer County Health Department said all the standing water can be a problem. The Health Department’s Director of Environmental Health, Kyle Lloyd explains.
Lloyd said they have a product Mercer County residents can use to help prevent an outbreak of mosquitos.
The Health Department is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
