The Mercer County Board has affirmed the Mercer County Zoning Board’s approval of rezoning for the former Hawthorn Ridge golf course. The action taken Wednesday night following 90 minutes of discussion. Owner Mark Bieri is planning to redevelop the property into a campground. Final approval will now be on the June 8th Mercer County Board agenda says Mercer County State’s Attorney Grace Simpson.
Neighbors opposed to the rezoning have 30 days following the June 8 county board meeting to ask for administrative review in front of a judge.
