A Christmas open house featuring over 300 nativities is scheduled for Sunday, December 10th, from 12 to 3 p.m. The event is being put on by Hamlet-Perryton Presbyterian Church.
Faye Eckhardt of Hamlet-Perryton is helping to organize the open house. She says her church took over for the Gloria Dei congregation.
The Gloria Dei Presbyterian Church closed in 2022 and Pastor Drew Nagle retired after displaying the multiple Nativity scenes for more than 20 years.
The Nativities cover images of the birth of Jesus from around the world.
