The sale of Genesis Senior Living Aledo will get attention at this week’s Mercer County Board meeting. The item is on Tuesday night’s agenda. A representative from Genesis Health System will address the board. Genesis is selling the nursing home to Stern Therapy Consultants of New York. They operate over 40-facilities throughout the East Coast and Midwest. Genesis assumed ownership of the former Mercer County Nursing Home in February of 2013.
