An extensive generator project being considered for the Mercer County VFW. The subject was brought up at last night’s Aledo City Council meeting and the project would be funded through a donation from General Grind and Machine says interim city administrator Chris Sullivan. He says the generator would allow the facility to adequately serve as a storm shelter.
The donation amount mentioned at last night’s meeting was $50,000.
