Plans for a $6-million Aquatics Center unveiled in Aledo. The details were released in a presentation to the Aledo City Council Tuesday night. The proposed project would be constructed at the former Farmers Grain & Coal site, just east of the Aledo Fire Station. Joshua Layer is with Burbach Aquatics. Layer is hopeful bidding can take place in the fall of 2023 with construction in 2024. The existing Fenton Park Pool is 80-years old.
