F&M Bank To Rebrand As CBI Bank & Trust Later This Year

Transition Part of Broader Unification Across 24 Locations

(Muscatine, IA) — CBI Bank & Trust has announced that its F&M Bank Division will soon operate under the CBI Bank & Trust name, part of a larger rebranding effort to unify its locations across Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

F&M Bank and CBI Bank & Trust have shared the same parent company, Central Bancshares, Inc., since 2002. According to Dwayne Sieck, CEO of CBI Bank & Trust and President & CEO of Central Bancshares, the decision is a strategic step toward strengthening brand recognition across all 24 banking locations.

“Becoming one brand, one team is a reflection of our evolving mission, vision and values for our growth in the future,” said Sieck. “As always, our commitment to the local communities we serve will continue to be as strong as ever, both in terms of financial support and the involvement and leadership provided by our employees.”

Clients are unlikely to experience any disruptions during the transition. Bob Howard, President of CBI Bank & Trust, emphasized that the rebranding will not affect products, systems, or services.

“We will continue to offer the same great products, systems, and services,” said Howard. “The transition will take place over the next few months, with completion expected by the third quarter of 2025.”
