The country’s largest ag trade show still scheduled to happen this year, with people. That’s the plan right now for the Farm Progress Show Sept. 1-3 in Boone, Iowa says show director Matt Jungmann, who spoke with RFD Radio’s Rita Frazer this week.
Jungmann farms in the Mercer and Warren county areas and his family is actively involved with the Mercer County Fair each summer.
Today, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced that Iowa businesses statewide can reopen Friday. She said all restrictions that were previously lifted in all but 22-Iowa counties are now lifted in all counties. Salons, gyms, churches, and even restaurants can reopen with social distancing and capacity limits in place. The state health department is encouraging Iowans to take the appropriate safety measures.
