Not very often does the end of one school year and the beginning of the next one occur in the same month. That’s happening in the Sherrard School District. The ceremonial finish of the 2019/2020 school year ended Saturday, Aug. 1 with a drive through graduation and the start of the 2020/2021 school year is slated to begin in a few weeks. Superintendent Alan Boucher says describing education in 2020 sure hasn’t been easy.
The first official day of student attendance in the Sherrard School District is Aug. 17.
