Mercer County opened the 2021 softball season in heart breaking fashion as Monmouth-Roseville scored four runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to spoil their season opener. Sherrard’s baseball team stayed hot as they downed Ridgewood in non-conference play Tuesday. Mercer County also opened their wrestling season with a win over United Township.
