Donna Dolan, 93 of New Windsor, died Wednesday, March 15, 2023, surrounded by family at her daughter’s home. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Funeral services are 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 22, at New Windsor Presbyterian Church. Burial is in New Windsor Cemetery. Memorials may be left for the family.
Donna Darlene was born January 27, 1930, in New Windsor, the daughter of Thomas and Anna Stevenson Shull. She graduated from New Windsor High School in 1947. On August 30, 1947, she married Robert Dolan in Woodhull, they later divorced. Donna was a homemaker and mother – she spent countless hours gardening, canning, baking, and sewing…all for her family. She worked at several restaurants in the area and was well known as a donut maker. Donna was a member of New Windsor Presbyterian Church and active with Golden Circle and the food pantry. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and card club.
Survivors include her children: James Dolan, Thomas Dolan, Denise Dolan (Don Blakesmith), Dorann (Sam) Ericson, and Darla (George) Seaberg; grandchildren: Joseff Dolan, Nicholas Dolan, Robin Dolan, Matthew Dolan, Daniel Dolan, Paul (Barb) Dolan, Jeremy Dolan, Tim Dolan, Tyson (Reshea) Lawson, Taleia Dolan, Stephen (Courtney) Ericson, Logan (Haley) Ericson, Malerie Ericson, Calan Seaberg, and Caylea Seaberg; great grandchildren: Attilysse, Noah, Patrick, Harrison, Kenneth, Katelynn, Stephen, Kayley, Addison, Mason, Paisley, Lilly, Emmett, Andrew, and Conor; sister: Dodie Johnson; honorary grandkids: Christopher (Laura) Seaberg and Cody Farr; and special friend: Lisa Gates.
She was preceded in death by her parents; children: Jeffrey Dolan and Debra Stutzman; and siblings: Clifford, Clayton, Donald, Daryl, and Frank Shull, Rita Lutrell, and Wiladean Brown.
