Coulter Pushes For Support Of Ambulance Referendum

Less than two weeks to go before the Illinois Primary on March 19 and a referendum to pay for ambulance service is on the ballot in the Aledo and Joy Fire Protection Districts. Joy Fire Protection District Trustee Eric Coulter says a yes vote is crucial.

Residents in the affected fire protection district areas are being asked to pay about three dollars more a month in property taxes on a $100,000 home. Early voting can be done at the Mercer County Courthouse in Aledo. The details are at the website mercercountylifeline.com.
