Mercer County Coroner Greg Larson has released the identity of the child killed in a mishap on private property in rural Alexis. The name is Eliana Kimmerle, age 6 of East Peoria. She was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday afternoon by Chief Deputy Coroner Linda Sarabasa after Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call involving a one-vehicle accident. Alexis-North Henderson Ambulance assisted at the scene.
