A Little York man has been arrested in connection with a hit and run accident that took place on August 21st south of Little York. 48 year old Jeremi Jackson of rural Little York is accused of striking 18 year old Kurtis Garnsey of Kirkwood, who was walking along Illinois Route 135 at about 9:30 p.m. Garnsey was treated at OSF Hospital and later released. Jackson was taken into custody at the Warren County Sheriff’s Office Sunday and was cited for leaving the scene of an injury accident, failure to report the accident, and failure to give aid. At a court hearing on Monday, bond was set at $5,000.
