A United High School grad is helping two Monmouth-Roseville students organize a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest this weekend. Jake Murdock is lending a hand to Anna Dillard and Ruby Williams.
The event is Saturday from 5-to-6 p.m. at the Monmouth Public Square. Murdock is a teacher in the Galesburg School District and graduated from United in 2007. He is the grandson of Gene Cooper from Aledo.
