Aledo will be in a new State Senate District in the New Year and because of that, they will be home to a district office. State Senator Neil Anderson announcing on social media this week that he will be closing his Moline office and opening a new office in Aledo. He will be occupying the second floor of the Button Building, which is now owned by WJ Albertson and Winborn Properties. Anderson represents the 47th State Senate District, which now includes Aledo. Aledo had been in the 37th State Senate District.
