2020 has been a challenging fiscal year for the City of Aledo. Much of that is the result of the pandemic. Budget talks will soon begin for the new fiscal year, which begins January 1 says Mayor Chris Hagloch, who spoke with WRMJ after Tuesday night’s Aledo City Council meeting.
Budget meetings are scheduled for October 20 and 21.
Also this week, the Aledo City Council swore in a new police officer–.Andrew Christie.
And Aledo Public Works Director Justin Blaser told the Aledo City Council that “plan sheets for remodel” have been submitted to City Hall for the new Casey’s project. Casey’s will be occupying the former Aledo Mart property.
