The City of Aledo is under a water boil order for all residents and businesses connected to the Aledo water system.
According to a City of Aledo press release sent on Monday afternoon, the cause is due to an unforeseen maintenance issue with the water system and will remain in effect until the issue is repaired and laboratory testing confirms that the water quality has been fully restored.
Aledo residents should boil all water used for cooking and drinking for at least five minutes.
