WRMJ spoke with Mercer County High School senior cross-country runner Payton Thirtyacre for the High School Sports Spotlight on Thursday.
Thirtyacre finished fifth individually at the Three Rivers Athletic Conference (TRAC) Meet earlier this week, earning all-conference honors and helping lead the Golden Eagles to the conference championship, which is the first varsity conference title for Mercer County since the school joined the TRAC.
The Mercer County High School Sports Spotlight is presented by COUNTRY Financial representative John Waugh and Advanced Rehab and Sports Medicine.
