The City of Aledo has begun collecting LRS garbage and recycling tubs.
Aledo City Administrator Mike Chausse told WRMJ that the city’s public works department started collecting LRS/Jackson totes on the north side of the city on Wednesday and plans to pick up the carts on the south side of the city on Thursday.
Chausse says Aledo residents should keep their LRS/Jackson totes on the curbside for collection.
Last week, LRS said it would collect its own tubs.
LRS’s contract with the City of Aledo for waste collection services was terminated on April 30. Quick’s Dumpster and Disposal began servicing Aledo on May 1.
