Getting approved for Illinois Housing Development Authority tax credits remains a key piece for the proposed $16.4 million Northside Lofts project at the former Aledo Junior High property on North College Avenue.
A community meeting was held Thursday night at the Mercer County VFW.
Beth Payne is with the Economic Growth Corporation, the group leading the project.
The project was originally announced in late 2021.
