Mercer County (9-9, 1-2 TRAC West) scored the first 17 points of the game in a 55-38 win over Ridgewood (8-6, 1-2 LTC) in girls basketball Thursday.
The Golden Eagles forced the Spartans into turnovers on Ridgewood’s first 10 possessions.
Freshman Shadia Williams led Mercer County with 18 points. Molly Hofmann, 17, and Whitney Collison, 10, also scored in double figures for the Golden Eagles.
Mercer County is 6-2 with Williams in the lineup.
