More pushback on a proposed 380-acre solar farm near Alexis. A number of neighbors spoke out at Tuesday night’s Mercer County Board meeting. The Mercer County Zoning Board turned down the developer’s application in late December calling it incomplete. And the county board Tuesday night approved a report of proceedings says Mercer County State’s Attorney Grace Simpson.
The developer, Birch Creek from St. Louis, confirmed to WRMJ Tuesday night that they plan to file an amended application to the zoning board.
