WRMJ spoke with West Central (12-5, 6-0 LTC) senior Shelby Bowman before her 41-point performance in a 65-60 win over Mercer County Monday.
Bowman scored her 2,000th career point in December. She’s averaging 29.6 points per game this season.
Bowman played her freshman season at Notre Dame High School in Burlington and has eclipsed 2,000 points in two and a half seasons at West Central alone. Her career point total is now over 2,200.
