WRMJ spoke with Rockridge High School senior running back and linebacker Alex Zarlatanes after Rockridge’s 37-21 win over Westville in the first round of the IHSA 2A football playoffs Saturday.
Zarlatanes rushed for 184 yards and a touchdown in the first round one win. He now has over 1,200 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns this season. Zarlatanes also returned an interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter against Westville.
The Rockets (9-1) host Seneca (10-0) Saturday in the second round at 2 p.m. WRMJ’s coverage will start at 1 p.m.
