We’re just a couple of weeks away from the Mercer County Fair.
Fair Board President Rita Williams says the event runs July 11-15. The first Mercer County Fair was held in 1853. It’s been canceled only three times – 1862 due to the Civil War, 1938 because of financial difficulties, and the pandemic forced cancellation of the 2020 fair.
