A Milan man facing numerous citations following a crash last weekend near Aledo. Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies along with Aledo and Viola police responded to the scene. The driver, 21-year-old Benjamin Baum was taken into custody Saturday for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, no valid driver’s license, illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle and DUI. His vehicle was towed from the scene. Baum was later released after posting bond.
