An update on the new baseball diamond project at Aledo’s Northside Park. No games will be played on the new diamond this spring or summer, but there will be progress says Aledo Park District Commissioner Tanner Dunn.
The new diamond is being constructed west of the existing big diamond and a portion of the project is being funded by a $30,000 grant from the Looser-Flake Foundation. The dimensions of the new field are 335 feet down the lines and 385 feet to center field.
