The Mercer County Sheriff’s Department releasing information on three recent traffic related incidents.
Deputies responded to a reckless driver on U.S. 67 Saturday. The driver, Curt Rambo of Aledo, was located and arrested for DUI, resisting a peace officer, and possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle. Rambo was transported to the Mercer County Jail where he later posted bond.
On Sunday, deputies arrested Brian Lininger of New Boston for DUI and fleeing and eluding a peace officer. The charges stemmed from a traffic stop in the rural New Boston area. Lininger was transported to the Mercer County Jail where he posted bond.
Also on Sunday, deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the rural Seaton area. The juvenile driver suffered minor injuries.
