Two fallen sailors from Keithsburg honored later this week. 76th Street in Keithsburg from Jackson Street to Illinois Route 17 is being designated as the “PO2 Robert Holloway and PO3 Ronald Crose Memorial Highway.” Local State Rep. Dan Swanson sponsored the House Joint Resolution recognizing the two Vietnam veterans.
The highway dedication ceremony is Friday, May 27, at 5 p.m. at the Keithsburg Veterans Memorial Park.
