Ameren Illinois is working with the state to provide $12-million to help income-qualified customers pay their energy bills. The funding is available through the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. LIHEAP provides relief to aid customers impacted by higher power supply prices. LIHEAP is administered locally by Mercer County Project NOW.
