The City of Aledo is looking at a full-time economic development director position. It would be a partnership with Aledo Main Street says Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch.
On Monday night, the Aledo City Council okayed moving forward with two W.J. Albertson projects—the Button Building and a storefront at 114 East Main.
Albertson is purchasing the Button Building for $5,500 from the city and plans to invest $200,000. He is seeking up to $50,000 in TIF assistance for the 114 East Main property.
