The Mercer County and Sherrard school districts sharing $200,000 in grant funding from the Looser-Flake Charitable Foundation. The money will be used for technology efforts says Kelly Thompson with the Quad Cities Community Foundation, which administers the Looser-Flake Charitable Foundation.
Over the last four years the Looser-Flake Foundation has granted over $600,000 to educational technology projects.
