Plenty of opportunity to see fireworks shows in Mercer County this weekend.

There is a special event at the Verdurette House (located at 65th Avenue, rural New Boston) on Saturday (July 3). The event will include fireworks. James DeLap details the day.
The City of Aledo will shoot off fireworks from the Mercer County Fairgrounds on Sunday night (July 4) says Mayor Chris Hagloch.
Also this weekend, Keithsburg will have a fireworks show at the end of East Main Street on Saturday night (July 3). There will also be a golf cart and side-by-side parade at 5 p.m. starting at 16th Street and ending at the campground.
