They’re small in numbers, but the Western Illinois Model Train Club puts in some serious work. An ongoing nine-year project has resulted in 1,500 feet of track and a 40-by-80 feet layout. Allen Holdsworth is one of three current club members and takes great pride in the scenery displays.
You can see the display during Rhubarb Fest Friday and Saturday June 4 & 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s located at 118 East Main Street in Aledo.
