A public hearing for the rezoning of the former Hawthorn Ridge golf course set for this week. The Zoning Board of Appeals has already approved the change, which would allow for a campground at the site. But an appeal has been filed by neighbors of the property, setting up the public hearing says Mercer County State’s Attorney Grace Simpson.
The hearing is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mercer County Courthouse.
