Two fallen sailors from Keithsburg honored in an Illinois House Joint Resolution sponsored by local State Rep. Dan Swanson. The measure designates 76th Street in Keithsburg from Jackson Street to Illinois Route 17 as the “PO2 Robert Holloway and PO3 Ronald Crose Memorial Highway.” Petty Officer Second Class Robert Holloway died while serving his country in South Vietnam on February 20, 1966. Petty Officer Third Class Ronald Crose was killed in action while serving his country in South Vietnam on November 24, 1967.
