Prosecutors are asking for no more than three years in prison for a former United Township High School school resource officer who pleaded guilty to child pornography charges. Kirk DeGreve, a former Aledo resident, lost his job as an East Moline officer earlier this year when his improper relationship with a high school student came to light. DeGreve is 48-years old, and his victim was a student at UTHS. As part of his plea deal, prosecutors agreed to drop sexual assault and another child porn charge. DeGreve will be sentenced in December.
