Reopening “non-essential” businesses the topic of discussion at this week’s Aledo City Council meeting. Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch says he understands the urgency, but he says there would likely be repercussions for those establishments that are subject to state licensing.
Hagloch says aldermen have directed him to reach out to Mercer County area communities to participate in a joint letter directed toward Governor Pritzker.
Hagloch says the council could consider reopening city parks at the the regular May 18th meeting.
