The first cases of coronavirus infection are popping up in downstate Illinois. Illinois is now up to 64 cases, including patients in Cumberland, St. Clair and Woodford counties as well as DuPage, Cook, Kane and Lake counties. Governor J.B. Pritzker says they are still seeing large gatherings and that people need to do their part.
So far there have been no coronavirus related deaths in Illinois.
