Local law enforcement getting ready for the legalization of recreational marijuana. Mercer County Sheriff Dusty Terrill says he’s concerned about the impact on impaired driving.
The recreational marijuana law takes effect Jan.1. It allows Illinois residents who are 21 and older to possess up to 30 grams of cannabis flower, 5 grams of concentrate and 500 milligrams of THC in products such as edibles.
