The Aledo City Council has scheduled a TIF Committee meeting for next week to discuss an application submitted by the Mercer County Family YMCA. The application, filed with Aledo City Hall, details a probable expansion cost of just over $2.9-million with the Y seeking $176,420 in TIF funds. The TIF Committee meets Wednesday night (Aug. 7) at 6:15 p.m. at City Hall. The Y opened in December 1992.
