As a new library will soon be open in Aledo, the future of the old library is uncertain. Aledo Mayor Chris Hagloch hopes the building doesn’t sit vacant. He spoke with WRMJ about the issue following Monday night’s City Council meeting.
The new Edwards River Public Library is set to open later this month. The Mercer Carnegie Library closed last week while moving takes place. The Mercer Carnegie Library opened in 1915.
