Talks continue with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department assuming 9-1-1 dispatching services for Henderson County, but Sheriff Dusty Terrill is not sold on the idea just yet.
Terrill says the Mercer County Emergency Telephone Services Board is seeking additional information from Henderson County before making a final decision.
