WRMJ spoke with Rockridge High School sophomore quarterback Cullen Schwigen Tuesday.
Schwigen took an unofficial visit to the University of Illinois Saturday in the Fighting Illini’s 38-16 win over Michigan State.
Last week, he was named 2A honorable mention all-state by the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association (IHSFCA), one of just three sophomores in Illinois to earn an all-state selection. Schwigen broke Rockridge’s program records for single-season passing yards (1,960) and single-season touchdowns (33) this year.
