WRMJ spoke with Mercer County High School volleyball coach Lexi Stropes Tuesday about her background growing up in the Hartsburg-Emden program.
The Stags were named the 18th best volleyball program in state history in the IHSA’s top-50 countdown last week.
Stropes is a 2016 graduate of the school and played on Hartsburg-Emden’s 2014 1A state runner-up team.
