The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Saturday for the WRMJ listening area. Meteorologist Timothy Gunkel spoke with WRMJ early Thursday morning.

* WHAT…Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7
inches possible.
* WHERE…Portions of northeast Missouri, east central and
southeast Iowa and north central, northwest and west central
Illinois.
* WHEN…From Saturday morning through Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult.
