Terry Lee Johnson, 66 of Aledo, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at his home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, at the Dennison Funeral Home in Viola. Terry was born on June 26, 1958, in Rock Island, the son of James F. and Erma J. Dobbins Johnson. He was a graduate of Sherrard High School. Terry held several different jobs over the years including, working for John Deere and the Rock Island Arsenal and farming.
In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching sports, and talking about farming.
Terry is survived by his siblings, Gregory Johnson and Lisa Fetter of Aledo; nephew, Terrence Fetter of Aledo; niece, Melissa Tulgetske of Davenport; cousins, Debbie Johnson, Sharon Leech, and Warren Johnson all of Milan, Don Howlett of Aledo, Darryl Johnson of Rock Island, and Douglas Johnson of Bettendorf; aunt, Peggy Johnson of Rock Island; great-nieces, Aaliyah Gosney of Moline and Alanna Blasko of Clinton; and great-great-niece, Charlotte Hensley of Moline.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Erma Johnson; sister, Valarie Johnson; uncles, Charles Johnson and Richard Johnson; aunt, Dora Mae Howlett; cousin, Pam Russell; and grandmother, Mary Amy Nelson.
