Orion (32-3) and Sherrard (28-7-1) move on to the 2A regional championship volleyball match at Sherrard High School on Thursday following semifinal wins Tuesday night. The host Tigers knocked off Mercer County (16-14) 25-13, 25-21 and Orion defeated Rockridge (16-16) 25-20, 25-23.
Orion won both meetings over Sherrard during the regular season.
