The 2026 Relay for Life of Mercer County is this weekend.
This year’s Relay for Life event takes place on Saturday at Aledo’s Central Park. Luminaria sales run from 3 to 7 p.m., and the event officially opens at 4 p.m. A bake sale also starts at 4 p.m., while a pork chop dinner is offered from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Aledo Fire Station. There is musical entertainment from 5 to 8 p.m. with Ryan Koresko performing at the Aledo Central Park Band Shell. The night concludes with the Survivor Walk at 8 p.m. and the Luminaria Walk at 9 p.m.
Relay for Life Organizer Mary Flint says it’s always a great day of honoring cancer survivors, caregivers, and loved ones who lost their lives to the disease.
